This article is about the extension. For the feature that lets Scratch interact with a camera, see Video Sensing.

The Video Sensing Extension is an extension that allows webcams to interact with Projects through Video Sensing. When the extension is added to a project, a video will appear which will display what the user's webcam sees, unless the user has blocked Scratch's access to the webcam, at which point there will be no video. Prior to Scratch 3.0, the extension was found in the Sensing Blocks.

Note Note: Cloud Data is disabled when using the extension on projects uploaded to the Scratch Website, for privacy reasons.[1]

Blocks

There are two stack blocks, one hat block and one reporter block.
