Welcome!
Welcome to the Scratch Wiki (from Apple502j)
I hope you'll be one of the best Wiki editor at the 3,708 editors.
Do you need help?
Of course, we always help you. If you need help, let's go to my talk.
You can use Community Portal to discuss about Scratch Wiki. (And please don't forget the signature! (--~~~~))
If you want to test, you can use Sandbox or your own Sandbox.
How to Create an Article?
First, you should (or have to) read New Page Policies. (Maybe you have read it.)
Second, go to Scratch_Wiki:Create an article and put page name.
You have to use Wiki formatting, but don't worry. You can learn in Scratch Wiki:Cheatsheet.

Test is there
You have the sandbox and you can only test something there. Scratch Wiki:Sandbox --

Welcome!
Welcome to the Scratch Wiki! I look forward to the useful edits you'll make and hope you'll have fun here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, where you can talk about the Wiki, get my help with templates, or even ask personal questions, and more! If you need quick help with wiki markup, take a look at Scratch Wiki:Cheatsheet. You might want to go to Category:Articles to Expand to find pages that need editing. I get my inspiration from Special:RecentChanges however, so looking at that helps too. See you around, The_scratch_voice; |

DO NOT MAKE EXTENSION PAGES
ACCORDING TO ST POLICY, IT IS NOT ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE ANY EXTENSIONS. THAT PAGE IS SO. THE PAGE WAS DELETED --

- Apple502j, please be respectful and don't use caps lock. Everyone (especially new users) makes mistakes sometimes, and the best way to deal with that is to explain calmly. However, by explaining it in this way, it looks like you're screaming at the_scratch_voice.

A quick reminder
I saw that your signature was broken on jvvg’s talk page, so let me just remind you that you can fix that (see my welcome message, above).

Do not remove other people’s messages
If you feel like your talk page is getting cluttered up, you can archive it by copying the current contents and moving them to a subpage of your talk page, which you then link to on the main talk page. That way, the messages remain more publicly accessible to anyone who needs to revive a discussion, instead of searching through page history. Thanks!

- Actually, users are allowed to delete entire threads from their talk page if the issue has been completely resolved. However, in that case, the entire thread (not just individual messages) must be deleted, the issue must be resolved, and other users are allowed to bring it back if there is more to say.

Why did you turn off WikiMonitor?
You turned off WikiMonitor at 17:01 UTC on January 12, 2018. Why did you do this? Looking through its contribs, the only edit it has made recently was one edit notifying you of not signing your post because the tildes failed to turn into a signature. The page where you turn off WikiMonitor specifically gives you the following warning:
“ | WikiMonitor should ONLY be turned off if it's an emergency, meaning a large volume of repeated bad edits that do not stop after a few minutes.
If it's only one or a few bad edits, do NOT turn it off and instead just notify jvvg. There are consequences for turning this bot off when not necessary. |
” |
In your case, there was only one edit, and the notification was technically correct (even though you included four tildes, your signature did not display). In that case, the warning says specifically that you should NOT turn off WM and should instead notify me. By turning it off, you disrupted the operation of the bot (it doesn't turn back on automatically, I have to turn it back on myself) and didn't actually prevent any problems from occurring.
Please follow the appropriate warnings before shutting off WikiMonitor in the future in order to avoid disrupting operation.

Please don't create userpages in the mainspace
I just deleted your page "The Scratch Voices talk page archive" because it is a userpage in the mainspace. The general convention is that if you want to archive your talk page, create User talk:The scratch voice/Archive 1 (and then archive 2, 3, etc. for subsequent archives).
jvvg (talk | contribs) 23:49, 12 January 2018 (UTC)
Please don't remove
You shouldn't remove others' talk, except welcome and bot. --
Apple502j Talk/Activities 2,243edit 03:51, 14 January 2018 (UTC)
- You are allowed to remove threads if you remove the entire thread and it's resolved (this means you can't remove individual messages but you can remove the whole thing as long as the issue requires no more discussion). However, if a resolved thread becomes un-resolved for whatever reason, other users are allowed to put it back.

A note about your user page
I was looking at user pages and saw that yours says you will be back 1/1/2019. However, I haven't seen you around at all! You may want to consider removing that text.
Your userpage, your choice, though.
