Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
We're glad to have you here! The Scratch Wiki is a giant wiki which anyone including you can contribute and edit. With 1,257 articles, 1,919 users, 72 active users, 225,808 edits and 3,045 files, the Scratch Wiki has been thriving since December 6, 2008.
Here's your first stop: the "Welcome" tutorial.
For a quick summary of the tutorial, see the:
Questions? Ask on the Community Portal!
We hope you'll make great edits!

Welcome!
![]() | Welcome to the Scratch Wiki! I look forward to the useful edits you'll make and hope you'll have fun here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, where you can talk about the Wiki, get my help with templates, or even ask personal questions, and more! If you need quick help with wiki markup, take a look at Scratch Wiki:Cheatsheet. You might want to go to Category:Articles to Expand to find pages that need editing. I get my inspiration from Special:RecentChanges however, so looking at that helps too. See you around, TenType; |

Welcome
Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
Hi TenType and welcome to the Scratch Wiki! I'm banana439monkey (or Banana for short) and, however inactive I am, I'm an experienced wikian. Outside of the wiki, I'm a maker who makes projects either out of curiosity or for the sake of the end user and with them in mind (after all, the end user is why I do what I do). The wiki's a welcoming place full of friendly and helpful Scratchers who are eager to see what edits you make! If you need help, you can always ask me, although given my activity, you'd be better off asking on the Community Portal or reading the help pages. Following the welcome tutorial is also a great way of finding your way round the wiki! Anyway, that concludes my grand speech and it's your time to do the unimaginable. Have fun and enjoy your stay!

Welcome!
Hi! Welcome to the scratch wiki. We are very happy you are here! :D If you have any questions feel free to ask me on my Talk Page! Any ways... Welcome to the wiki and I look forward to seeing you around! :D Jakel181 (talk | contribs) 11:18, 18 March 2019 (UTC)

Welcome TenType!
Hello there TenType! Welcome to the Wiki!
If you have any suggestions for the Wiki, just ask on the Community Portal!
When I first joined, I used this sheet to help me get started.
You can also take a look at random pages to get started.
If you need any help:
Couple Tips if I may:
Be sure to check your watchlist often. You automatically watch a page when you edit it. If you check your watchlist, you will know if someone replied to you.
Or you can check the Recent Changes.
Hope to See you SOON!

Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
Welcome to the English Scratch Wiki TenType! Congratulations on getting your account accepted! I'm Vin, and I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have. You can message me on my talk page if you need help with anything on the Wiki, have a question you want to ask, or just to chat.
If you want to find pages to edit, then you could look at some articles to expand or some article stubs to find pages that you can improve. Alternatively, you could have a look at the innacurate articles to find places to add references.
Have great time on the Wiki, TenType!

♥ A Little Welcome ♥
Hey there! Welcome to the Wiki, TenType!
I hope you can make lots of helpful edits. Remember to check out the new page policies and especially the guidelines. The Wiki can be a little tricky in the beginning - I'm still making lots of mistakes. Mainly remember to include a summary of what you did with your edits and use a signature at the end of a reply/new topic on talk pages only. Don't worry; you'll get the hang of things eventually!

About your welcome template
Done
Hey there! I noticed that your welcome template looks really similar to mine, two posts above. I believe that you took the code, if not I apologize for accusing. Anyway, it's okay if you did, but could you please give credit? Thank you! EIephant_Lover Talk Contributions Subpages 17:33, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hello! When I first made my Welcome template, I looked through some welcome templates that some users had. I saw yours, I really liked it, and, changed it up a little but kept the format. I guess I was in a rush, because I forgot to give credit. Sorry for not doing it, I'll fix it right away!

CP Topics
Done
Hi there! It appears you took my idea of extracting important topics from the CP that were archived (I'm flattered). However, I already completed mine. So, there really is o point of yours, just saying. NYCDOT [ Talk Page | Contributions | Directory ] 22:26, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hi! I looked at your CP Topic page, but it seems as if that your's lists the topics that still have importance today, while mine has the ones that are memorable/notable (achievements or advancements). So, not to be rude, but technically there is a point in my page since yours has a different use than mine. I'll link yours and explain the differences on my page just in case somebody thinks I have the same exact page as yours.

WikiFauna
Done
On your userpage, you mentioned what WikiFauna(s) you are and the percentages of them you are. How did you find out which ones you are and the percentages of them? Jammum (💬 Talk - ✍️ Contribs) 07:05, 11 July 2019 (UTC)
- For the types of WikiFauna, I just looked at the Wikipedia pages of them, like Wikipedia:WikiMercenary. You could check Wikipedia:WikiFauna for a quick summary of them. For the percents, just estimated which ones I would most be, like on Chrischb's user page. Too bad there isn't a WikiFauna calculator, and even if there was one, it would have a lot of information collecting and take loads of time, since there are so many species of WikiFauna.

Please do more than just capitalization
Done
Hi, I just saw your recent edits on the various "(value)" pages and others, and thanks for your enthusiasm, but edits that minor are next to useless. Could you do a general clean up of articles you edit rather than just caring about SB and See Also caps? That would be great. Thanks! kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 23:00, 14 July 2019 (UTC)

Game and Talking

Hello! I saw the randomness game you had on your user page! I decided to try it and got 29! What is your record? Also, like you said though my mouse, how do you talk though someone's mouse in the way you did it? Thanks!
MrSquirrelDeDuck (talk | contribs) 18:33, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
- Hi! I don't remember my high score, but I remember a time I got over 50 pages. (mindblowing!) And to talk with your mouse, just use
<span title= "Whatever you want it to say">mouseover</span>
Like this: mouseover. Hope I helped!TenType (talk | contribs) 18:37, 31 July 2019 (UTC)
Inactive Notice
Done
Hello all!
This is just a heads up to everyone viewing my talk page that I will be mainly inactive for the rest of the week due to vacation. And yeah... that's it...

A small question
Done
I know you are gone on vacation, but hopefully you notice this when you return.
I see you used a special font on your user page, but how did you do that? Could you teach me please? Thanks! Nambaseking01 (talk | contribs) 19:58, 8 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi! To use a specific font, you could use something like
<span style="font-family:FONT">TEXT</span>
and the font would be that! For example, monospace: Monospace - Div and a lot of others work too. Also, don't close the tag if you want the whole page to be a specific font, like mine.
- And, I just came back from vacation as you can see. Yay!
TenType (talk | contribs) 19:00, 9 August 2019 (UTC)
- Great! I am currently on vacation, but I manage to come online every night. Anyways, thanks for explaining — I will use this in my talk page and userpage.

Sorry for annoying you with so many questions, but how do you find all the new workers. I have a new welcoming template which I used your format for and gave credits, but how... I know there is a list, but do you need to skip through the pages every time you want to find new users? Huh. Nambaseking01 (talk | contribs) 19:25, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
- New Wikians? I use the User Creation Log found at Special:Log/newusers, but sometimes I use Recent Changes to check.
- And questions are a-okay, no matter how much you ask them!
TenType (talk | contribs) 20:17, 10 August 2019 (UTC)
- I also know about that log — I just could not find it anymore. But thanks!

Well, another small question
Done
Note: I feel like you are about to ban me from your talk page at some point...
But yeah, how do you find out if a Wiki article or page already contains the same word you are about to write? Are there any search techniques? Nambaseking01 (talk | contribs) 18:31, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
- What do you mean? Like in titles or by using ctrl/command + f or anything?
- (Lol, questions are good! I would never ban people for asking too much
)
TenType (talk | contribs) 02:05, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
- So I am currently writing a subpage with my infinite likes (I am aware of the 2048kb limit, I will probably create another subpage if it arrives to that ;P) but I want to make sure that I do not add a like that I already had written. Is there a check system to do this? That is my question.

A few pedantic notes
Done
Sorry, I saw your edit summary on the Mblock page and had to mention this:
GUI is in fact pronounced "goo-ey". On the other hand, it was in fact unnecessary to include that in the article. Therefore you made the right edit for the wrong reason.
Pedantry over. kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 05:32, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
- Isn't it "gee-you-eye" instead of "gooey"? I searched this up on the internet and it was more common than the latter pronunciation.
TenType (talk | contribs) 23:29, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
- I'd think that pronouncing the letters individually would be okay, but I also think I may have heard people say "gooey." (Sorry for replying, I know I wasn't part of this conversation before, but I saw it and decided to post.)
bigpuppy talk ▪︎ contribs 23:39, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
- Oh, that's interesting. I've barely heard GUI being said pronounced as "gooey".

Yeah we're arguing about something that doesn't need to be argued with.
TenType (talk | contribs) 02:42, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
- I've always pronounced it goo-ey because the book that taught me Python eight years ago specifically explained that it was pronounced goo-ey. I've never heard anyone pronounce it otherwise. /shrug
kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 06:06, 24 August 2019 (UTC)
- I am not sure... There is a Lua tutorial person on YouTube and they said "goo-ey" earlier but everyone in the comments said he was incorrect and so he started pronouncing the letters individually so I also do it that way.

Congratulations! You've won the EW election. Your usergroups will be changed once the current admins have explained some things to you.
...and to explain things to you, it would be incredibly helpful if you were on our Discord server. We don't normally encourage people to join, but you're an EW and it's very useful to be able to talk to you semi-immediately.
Would you mind sending a friend request to <removed now - ST doesn't like this> (and telling me here what your username is/starts with so I can verify it's you)? Then I can invite you so that we can better explain your rights and responsibilities. Thanks. kenny2scratch Talk Contribs Directory 04:25, 26 October 2019 (UTC)
