Edits to Turbo Mode

I rollbacked your edits to Turbo Mode for a few reasons:

  • The content was not really up to Wiki standards
  • It was formatted pretty badly (no offense), and miscategorized, though both those could have been fixed

Mainly for the first reason. Hope you understand. Scratch Wiki on! :D

I actually have to disagree with you Scimonster. Purika's edits were of relatively good quality. If you think there were some grammatical errors, then you should fix it, not roll back the changes. Here is the last revision of her changes before the page was reverted. There are some errors, for example "Turbo mode" is generally bolded, and the link should have probably been [[Single_Stepping#Turbo_Speed|Turbo_Speed]] (that way it would flow better). This being said, I think you actually did a good job Purika. ;)
I think the real question is whether we need this disambiguation page. The difference between "Turbo Mode" and "Turbo Speed" is only the platform they are used; one for the Flash Player and one for the Scratch program. That being said, I simply edited the page with "Turbo Speed" so it says that it is called "Turbo Mode" in the flash player. :)

Thanks to both of you, I don´t have a clue who´s right since I just got started with the Scratch Wiki. I will hopefully get the hang of it and give something back to the Scratch community. :)

Lucario, it was also because I deemed it unnecessary. TBH, I didn't even notice the difference between "turbo speed" and "turbo mode".
Purika, you'll get used to it soon enough. :)

I figured, however you should have mentioned. If you ever have a suggestion as to improving an article and you might not be sure, than just post a message on the article's talk page ;).

Thanks! :)

New sections

We generally put new sections on talk pages at the bottom. :/

Categorizing images

I appreciate your work on the wiki so far. When you upload a new image please categorize it. We try to have every page/image in a category. :)
Bsteward (talk | contribs)21:44, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Sorry! I will categorize from now on!
Purika (talk | contribs) 21:46, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Don't forget to keep categorizing! If you want, you can check out the list of categories or category tree. :)
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 17:43, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, I usually don't categorize when I'm not sure what it is (and that happens a lot). So I will check out the links you've given me, and that will hopefully help! :D

Userpage images

We don't have any specific rule about this, but generally it's a guideline to not have too many images on your user page, since it's only a user page, not a main article. Generally 3 or less is OK. I would say that you probably shouldn't have a list of your projects, unless you don't have many, or you only want to list a handful of them. These pages are generally used so other wiki contributors can learn a bit about you and your interests, not so you can have a biography about yourself (not that yours is long or anything.)
Lucario621 (talk | contribs) 22:51, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

OK, sorry! I think I will get rid of the list of projects and probably use the original game icons like scimonster did. I will also get rid of the files, because I think there is no need for them.

Think so? :P

14,354 is a wee bit higher than yours. XD
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 18:07, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

I know that. Mine says repeat until mine will be bigger - it doesn't say it is. I know it probably never will be, but it's a nice motivating image, for me at least...
Purika (talk | contribs) 18:11, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
I know what your says. :) If it motivates you, that's awesome! Keep on editing. :D
