Nah, you just need to worry about WikiMonitor when you forget to sign your post, or don't categorize a brand-new image file or main page. I'm not sure what else it catches you for, but it does sometimes. Trust me, though, it's really hard to make lots of wiki edits without getting caught by that thing at least once.

The only things WM notifies you for are forgetting to sign your posts, forgetting to categorize new pages, or making too many edits to the same page in a short amount of time (excluding the sandbox and talk pages).

The first page I made, Code Words, WikiMonitor told me to categorize the pages. I read the help page and still had no idea what they meant.

To add a category, you add [[Category:<category name>]] anywhere on the page.

July 5 Updates.

Your article July 5 Updates is going to have to be deleted most likely. It's a little too specific to merit an article. We can't have a separate article for every single update unfortunately. Information related to the Discuss being removed from the header is best added to the Discussion Forums article. Plus we already have a page on Tips. Sound good? :)

Some more about categorization

I know you seem to have been yelled at by WikiMonitor a bit about categorization, but you don't need to categorize user pages! (In fact, you shouldn't.) So could you remove the category from your sandbox? Thanks.

If you're curious what types of pages need categorization, it's basically all of them except:

• User pages (User: namespace)
• System messages (MediaWiki: namespace) (you can't edit those anyway)
• Special pages (Special: namespace) (nobody can edit these)
• Media: namespace (if you link to a filename with Media: you're linking to the actual file stored on the server instead of the file page)

Anything besides that needs to be categorized. Hope I helped!

P.S. There's no need to feel bad - there are plenty of other people who made the same mistakes.

About some changes

Hey there! I've been watching some of your edits lately, and some of your edits were changing variances from American English to British English. No need to revert them back, Jammum and I have already reverted all of them back (I think). In the future, please do not change the English variances if it has already been set. For example, if a word was "color" on a page, you wouldn't change it to "colour" since it was already first created as the word "color", vise versa. A few exceptions are made to this rule, however. Please read S:CONVENTIONS#Variances_in_English for more information.

Also, please use the Show Preview button to prevent rapid editing. I also noticed this (as well as WikiMonitor) about your contributions. Excessive amounts of revisions to a page in a short time can clog the Recent Changes, which is hard for EWs to patrol.

Don't feel guilty, we all make mistakes when we first start editing! Feel free to reply to me if you have any more questions or concerns!

I've been working on a thew things for the ShopBux wiki and made this. What do you think, some of it is a little sloopy but I can fix that later if you want to use it. You can just copy and paste the whole this from the sandbox if you want to use it.
