How long?

How old (When they register) does someone have to be when they ask you to be an admin, and you let them? Just curious... :/ Jwosty 22:14, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

There's no restriction - but I guess it's sensible not to approve someone who has two edits. xP If you plan to ask, good luck! - I say you deserve it. :)

There aren't any restrictions - people become admins if they need the tools or should have them. If you'll be using them every so often, go ahead and ask to be an admin. :) But if you'll use them sparingly, it might be better to ask an admin to do the work for you. :)

Yeah, as they said. :) Chrischb and Jonathanpb were big helpers with the wiki on a previous site (scratch.wikia.com), so I made them admins here. WeirdF, has been a very helpful contributor contributing constantly for about a month, so I made him an admin too. I'm definitely open to more admins if they stand out.

Why did you revert Chrischb's edit to the Scratch Cat article?

You used the default message, not a custom one... that makes it look like you're reverting vandalism or something. xD But why did you revert it? :3

Sorry. Umm... Yeah I reverted it because I didn't think that picture was really necessary. There's already a whole picture gallery at the bottom - so it's not really necessary. Plus it looks weird with the word formatting.

It wasn't even in the picture gallery! And you're not supposed to just revert an edit like that unless it's really bad (which it isn't) - you're supposed to discuss it on the article's talk page.

You reverted way more than just that picture! Be careful when using the rollback - if a user did many edits in a row there, the rollback will revert all of them! Don't you remember what happened when we rollbacked all the block articles? I had to check each one and revert the rollback if necessary and finish the job.

And anyway, you should have posted a message on the article's talk page instead of just reverting it without discussing it. :/

There are many links to it... it really should be created. As you're the one that has a Lego WeDo, I think you should create the article; after all, the rest of us (well, at least me) would be stumped at it (yes, I've tried). :P Please don't be lazy Lucario... :3

About the Signatures Bit on the Welcome Article

I didn't know about that! However couldn't there be a bit explaining what the signatures are and how to use them, because we always have to tell new users to sign their posts...

It would be pretty difficult though. I don't think there's really a way to do that... The current signature system works fine though, if you ask me. Edit the section, indent with ":" (from 0-5 times usually), write your message, and then put your signature. It's kind of how most wikis work...
