Hm. Well, to sum up in two points:

• It uses a div with the HTML style attribute;
• In the style attribute, it uses CSS position: fixed; left: 0; bottom: 0;

Look everything up for more information - I'll explain more once you've leared more about CSS and HTML in general

Upload Image Page Warning

I recreated the page because it make it easier for New Wikians, and I specified why it was recreated on its talk page. You deleted it just a few minutes later, which is starting edit war, and breaking the Wiki guidelines. Do not keep going with this edit war. I was confused when I tried to add images to the Wiki for the first time.

I deleted it for reasons that I was in the middle of explaining on your talk page when you recreated it. FYI, re-deleting a page is not an edit war. If anything, you re-creating it is edit warring, rather than re-deleting it. You also only specified why you tried to re-create it after I had re-deleted it and then protected it against creation.

I've already explained on your talk page when a redirect should be created. The "Upload Image" redirect did not meet either of the criteria.

The applicable guideline in this case is the Bold, Revert, Discuss rule. That rule says that someone makes a bold edit, another user reverts it, then you discuss it before continuing. In this case, by creating the page, you made a bold edit. kenny2scratch then deleted your page, which for the purposes of this rule can be considered the same as reverting it. The rule then dictates that rather than re-reverting (which in this case would be re-creating the page), you should discuss why it was deleted.

@Drunken: I should have clarified. I meant nobody can add JavaScript that runs for all users. You can put JavaScript that you want to run for yourself on all skins on User:Drunken Sailor/common.js or switch "common" with a skin name (i.e. "scratchwikiskin2" or "vector") to only run it on that skin.

@funcoding: #ifexpr outputs one thing if an expression is true (non-zero) and the other if it is false (zero). Read mw:Help:Extension:ParserFunctions for help on that stuff.

You're trying to upload a new version of an existing image correct? Basically, what it's saying is that the file you're trying to upload is a .png, but that won't work (shown by (image/png)). The first section is saying that the file that already exists is a .jpg, so therefore the new version must be a .jpg. I would recommend opening the image in a paint editor and exporting the same image as a .jpg, so it can be uploaded. Hope this helped! ;)

warns for unnecessary formatting in "ALWAYS"

If you're uploading a file, you need to make sure the file is the same type as its extension. You could potentially have a PNG with a JPG extension for some reason - a good thing to do in that case would be to simply change the extension of the file - rename it from "whatever.jpg" to "whatever.png" (if you don't see ".jpg" or ".png", show file extensions).

If you're uploading a new version of a file, you need to convert your file to the same type as the original file. Let's say your current version is a JPG - you need to convert it to PNG. I recommend this for converting to PNGs. Or if your version is a PNG and you need to convert it to JPG, I recommend this for converting to JPGs.

Links to userpages

Is it okay to add a link closely related to a user that redirects to a userpage? For example, is it okay to add CrazyBoy826 to redirect to User:CrazyBoy826?

Absolutely not. Mainspace redirects to user pages are completely not allowed - it suggests that the userspace page is an actual article.

There is only one case where any root page redirects to a userpage - that's User:Mtwoll. "mtwoll" doesn't exist on the English wiki, but does on all other wikis. "User:Mtwoll" redirects to User:MartinWollenweber.

Otherwise, only intra-userspace redirects are allowed (i.e. redirects from one part of someone's userspace to another).

How to link images

How do you make a link to an image page? The image just shows up instead of a link appearing.

I've already fixed it for you, but for future reference, place a colon (:) in front of the file name to just link to the file, for example:

[[File:Drunken Sailor Profile Picture.png]] shows up as (when it's shrunk to fit :P):

Whereas [[:File:Drunken Sailor Profile Picture.png]] produces:

File:Drunken Sailor Profile Picture.png
