FYI, by the way, you seem to have missed a guideline shown on my talk page - when referring to me, make sure the name you use matches this regex. (I saw that you called me "Kenny" in two edit summaries. Kenny is especially bad, because it's a triggering memory, but in general make sure the name matches that regex.)

Off-topicness is okay on user talk pages :)

My point in linking you there was, when you're replying you're adding a space after the indent, which goes against that guide. I recommend you put your reply right up against the indent in the future, of course except when doing that would make formatting issues.

Actually, the Wiki filter is the forums filter. If you can't figure out how to apply the filter to your wiki, then I suggest you search around.

I know it's a MW wiki... if you can install AbuseFilter, you can use it as well. The link I posted shows the regex that our filter uses to look for bad words. I don't have any particular interest in an Enis wiki, though, so I'll leave it to you to figure out how to apply it.

You can change fonts in general using this:

<span style="font-family: 'Font Name', fontname, ...">text in the first font in that list that is available</span>

You can also use general font categories like "sans-serif" or "monospace" or "serif" as a font name if you want the default font in that category (usually these are used last as a final fallback).

Your signature already has a <span> tag around it, so replace the part of your signature that goes color:red;font-size:15px; with color:red;font-size:15px;font-family:FontName, FontName2, FontCategory; (replace FontName with the font you want, FontName2 with a font you think most people will have and that looks the closest to FontName, and FontCategory with either serif, sans-serif, or monospace, whichever applies to your preferred font.)

You've gotten "category" confused with "style". "Comfortaa Regular" means regular as opposed to bold, italic, or a combination of both. Looking at an image of the font, though, it's a sans-serif font. Use "sans-serif" at the end.

I was wanting to insert a former version of an image on a page in my userspace. I looked at Help:Images but that page mentioned nothing about inserting an archived image into a page. Is it possible? If so, how can it be done?

Regarding Elections for 2019

Hey Kenny,

You may remember me from the Test-SW, where we collaborated on the Chinese Wiki. I now have a question for you: when are we going to hold sysop and EW elections? Speaking of which, a very very belated congratulations on bureaucrat! I did help in transferring the site over, but on a much smaller scale.

I would recommend holding elections in either early 2019 or late 2018; December looks ripe to me.

First off, did you read my talk page guidelines? There's a regex that anything you use to refer to me must match, and "Kenny" does not match it.

Yes, I remember you from the testwiki.

For now, there are no plans to hold elections. Elections are not necessarily held at a regular interval; instead, they are held whenever the current admins feel we need more people.

Bureaucracy was granted because of my work on the transfer, rather than by election, just FYI.

How did you help in transferring the enwiki? As far as I know, the work was done by Colby (from the ST), myself, and de:User:Akhof.

As to the question: elections are a process where the Wiki community chooses a couple of people to gain extra privileges so that they can help the Wiki in a greater capacity. You can see previous elections here: Scratch Wiki:Elections

There's too much ambiguity involved - it may not always be ideal to insert the signature at the bottom. Additionally, it's much better to make the habit of signing and have something to remind you than to have something auto-sign for you and you forget about it completely.

That guide is mostly outdated and doesn't really work very well. I think it had to do with the process consuming too much text. I may provide an update in the future. For now, just cut and paste the topics (which is also what I do).

Quick answer. no! There could be others on the wiki fine with the name Kenny. The filter's used for blocking words and phrases inappropriate for Scratch. Not for names people don't like.

Exactly! We can't include personal preference in the Wiki's main code! You can politely ask them not to, but you can't forcefully stop them, especially with the AbuseFilter.
