If you want to find pages to edit, then you could look at Articles to expand or Article stubs to find pages that you can improve. Alternatively, you could have a look at Innacurate articles to find places to add references. I also get my own inspiration from Special:Random.

If you want to test, you can use Sandbox or your own Sandbox.
How do I create an article?
First,you should (or have to) read New Page Policies. (Maybe you have read it.)
Second, go to Scratch Wiki:Create an article and put page name.
You have to use Wiki formatting, but don't worry. You can learn at Scratch Wiki:Cheatsheet.
