Welcome!
By the way, I've compiled a list of tips for New Wikians. To see them, click "Expand" on the right side of the box below.
New Wikian Tips |
---|
These tips were written by Bigpuppy and transcluded from this page. The original version was written for Dressygirl, but now they are quite different. Thanks to jvvg and Kenny2scratch for helping me touch it up. I originally wrote the indenting instructions for Ski-, but I've changed them a lot for these tips. |
Have fun on the Scratch Wiki, and good luck editing!

Welcome! <3
Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!
Hi Hani2018 and welcome to the Scratch Wiki! I'm banana439monkey (or Banana for short) and, however inactive I am, I'm an experienced wikian. Outside of the wiki, I'm a maker who makes projects either out of curiosity or for the sake of the end user and with them in mind (after all, the end user is why I do what I do). The wiki's a welcoming place full of friendly and helpful Scratchers who are eager to see what edits you make! If you need help, you can always ask me, although given my activity, you'd be better off asking on the Community Portal or reading the help pages. Following the welcome tutorial is also a great way of finding your way round the wiki! Anyway, that concludes my grand speech and it's your time to do the unimaginable. Have fun and enjoy your stay!

About your edits in a short time
Hi. I saw your edits, and I appreciate your effort, but please don't make any unrelated edits in a short time. Someone can understand as that you're doing "vandalism". Please, if you will do a minor or a huge edit, I suggest you to think twice.
Note: | You can use canned summaries for same summaries. Good edits in the Wiki! |

- Ahmetlii, thank you for being concerned about the wiki and this editor's actions. I don't think anyone should classify their edits as "vandalism" though.
- Hani2018, thank you for your edits and for getting started so quickly! However, if you look in your contribution history and then go to the page histories of some of the pages you edited you'll see that some of your edits have been undone by other editors. Don't worry, though; you didn't do anything wrong! It's just that some editors feel that some pages would be better off a certain way. However, when you are changing pages, it would be very helpful for you to add an edit summary to each of your edits (in the "Summary" box below the edit window). This will help explain to other editors what type of change you're making, and in some cases, why you're making it. I see you've added summaries like "edit" and "k", but these don't help explain your edit or why you're doing it. An example of an edit summary you could use is "fixed typo" or "added citations." If you think it's something that other editors will disagree with, also explain why you're making the change. Your edit summaries don't have to be very long (unless you're making a major edit), and you'll get better at them over time. Does that sound good to you?

I moved your image
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I moved this image that you uploaded from File:FC1EDFC0-E24A-4D77-8A6F-06D42894F32F.png
to File:Hani2018 Profile Picture.png
. This is because all files should have descriptive filenames, and a random string of letters is not helpful to identify the file. I left a redirect, so your images still work, but just in the future remember to use the new filename.
You're not in any trouble at all, don't worry. Just make sure to use descriptive filenames next time. Thank you!

- Keep in mind that TenType deleted the redirect, so now you must change your userpage to the new filename.
