It's great that you're creating lots of new articles! However, unfortunately, I deleted your Fibonacci article because I felt it didn't have enough to do with Scratch. Your other tutorial articles are brilliant though! I did have to change the title of "Planetary Gravity" to "Simulating Gravity," because the scripts don't necessarily have to apply to planets, since other things can have gravity as well. And one last thing, I also had to delete that redirect that you created to your userpage, because unfortunately it is not allowed.
Also, you should probably get a signature, so people know who you are on talk pages and such. To do that create a new page called User:Dazman/Signature (just click on that link and edit the page) and insert <scratchsig>Dazman</scratchsig>, and your username and your user icon that you use on the main Scratch Website will appear as your signature. To insert a signature just put four tildes (~~~~) at the end of any post.
I hope you carry on creating useful articles and stay on the wiki! :)

- To clear things out, new users do NOT need a signature page anymore. We only asked to change the old signature pages to the new ones to match the style. I'm deleting Dazman's Signature page; you should just post ~~~~ at the end of every post and it'll turn into a signature automatically :)

Signatures on articles
You've been doing great work here, so don't feel bad - there's just one thing I noticed: signatures (those things with four tildes, ~~~~) are for talk pages, not articles. When contributing information, it belongs to the wiki - no user can claim that the work is theirs and sign it thus.

Categorizing things
You're a really good editor and I'm really happy that you're staying here!!! :D :D :D But since you're staying (or I hope you are xD), I thought I'd tell you about categories: Categories are things that we put in all articles, files and categories (yeah, categories are categorized :P). For example, the Blocks article is categorized under the category Scratch Program, and Project Statistics is categorized under Scratch Website. Categories help keep everything neat - for example, you could look through the Scratch Website category and find all the stuff related to it.
To categorize things, do [[Category:CATEGORY NAME]]. (Just put that at the bottom of the article/file/category's code.) Before you start categorizing things, take a look at Special:Categories to see what categories there are. If you want to create a new category, that's fine, but don't forget to categorize it too! ;)
Remember: All articles, files and categories should be categorized. Oh, not the category Scratch Wiki; that's the root category and is at the top.

You know you can make a link by just doing [[link place|link name]] and it comes out link name. I think it looks better than external links, especially when it is internal. Scimonster (talk | contribs) 14:24, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah I know I just prefer to do external links a lot of the time because i just copy and paste the URL. With internal links you have to have proper capitalization and spacing and stuff. Copy and pasting a URL is easier. I can just leave it to you to fix them ;). Don't worry about my knowledge of the wiki though. Editing thebuilderdd's talk page
While it is good that you are concerned for the wiki, it seemed to me like thebuilderdd vandalized his talk page. As it says,

Could You Help Me?
Hey Dazman! I need help in a number of areas...
1. I need help getting used to the Scratch Wiki, I don't really know what to edit (except for the occasional spelling error...) and I feel that after a while, the Scratch Wiki will have no edit possibilities left...(except for new Scratch versions) How should I go about editing?
2. I sort of feel like the Scratch Website is taking up too much of my Scratch time...What would you recommend I do?
3. Personally I love maths, I am 14 also, and in year 9 (I am home-schooled like Scimonster) doing algebra...But I have no idea as to how to use maths in Scratch...

- TBH I don't really know what to edit anymore, and I've been like that for a few months xD I visit each day to check the talk pages though. (Yeah I do edit articles sometimes ^^)
- You could set a timer or something maybe? Or rushhhh through comments and such :P

- Hey Lord Sydney. The simple answer to number one is, edit whatever you want. Although we have been running out of things to edit, there is always something left to add or fix. If you are bored of making minor corrections then top.
- For two I would say that you balance your life. Find another hobby if you feel scratch takes too much time
- Lastly, I feel that math is the centerpiece of programming. Without math, life as it is today would be impossible. Math can be integrated through variables, graphing, and more! With Math there is no limits to what it can be applied to. Dazman (talk | contribs) 09:50, 9 July 2011 (UTC)
