Secondly, I have every right to undo your edit. If I believe that the edit in question is removing perfectly good information from a page, then I have every right to undo it, Scratch Team or not.

I need help!

I don't know what to do when editing a page. Also, how do you create a new page and what is a signature? -MooMooDog

Whenever you reply to someone on a talk page, you put four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post. To create a new page, go to your desired page name, (for example, User:Moomoodog/Sandbox) and it will show as a red link. Go to the page, and click the create button. If the is under your Userspace, then you can put whatever you want as long as it follows the Community Guidelines. However, if the new page is a main article, then it must follow Scratch Wiki:New Page Policies. Hope that helped!

Design is done with HTML and CSS - you'll probably need to learn some of that before being able to go into in-depth design.

Oh, and remember to reply with an extra colon (:) in front of your message - i.e. Person 1 uses no colons - they started the topic; person 2 replies with one colon; person 3 adds an extra reply with two colons; person 4... and so on, until 6 colons - then you use {{outdent|<number of colons>}} and the process starts again. So Person 8 doesn't need any colons - they need {{outdent|6}}. Got it?

Help! Im having trouble uploading a file

I want to upload a picture of an obsolete block used in this project: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/167908559/ But it keeps saying this: File extension ".PNG" does not match the detected MIME type of the file (image/jpeg). This was not a problem before, so I don't know what to do.

Ok, I've had this problem before.

It means that because you are uploading a .png file, it does not work because the file that you are trying to upload a new version of is a .jpeg, and those two cannot match. Try uploading a brand new file instead of a new version of a file.

Well, I think you should make a copy of the page in your Sandbox, and then make the edits there. Then, get an Admin to look at your sand box, and if they like the edits, they will put them on the real page. Hope that helped!

About reverting

I'm trying to revert https://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/w/images/archive/20171029184155%21Forum_post_under_review.png to a better one, but every time I try to revert, it just keeps the same image! And when I try to revert again, it's the same thing, but the previous reversion by me actually has the image I wanted to revert.

It's because your browser has cached the image. To see the updated version, you need to clear your cache. See Help:Hard Refresh to see how to do it (I don't know exactly how on your browser XD).

Oh, it's important to remember not to revert your updated version. This uses up extra server space.

I made a new rule today, and your edit on said page violated that. I find it mean when people do that. I do not want anyone getting in trouble, especially not a scratcher who is as good as you (except for the edit, which was pretty mean). Anyway, please revert that, as it took a lot of work to make it (mostly from thinking about what to put in it) and it would be mean if people changed it so they wouldn’t know the hard-worker who did this and make others think jvvg did it all (unless they looked at RC).

So, basically, please revert the edit.

Whoa, hey there, there's four major problems with that:

1. You didn't read Scratch Wiki:April Fools at all, did you? You don't own any of the articles you create. Anyone can change it at will, and additionally they can be deleted without warning.
2. You also didn't read S:YOURS. Besides the fact that AF articles are extra not-yours, nothing here is yours except your own userpages. The wiki is public-domain; don't submit anything here if you don't want it to be modified mercilessly.
3. Furthermore, you cannot yell at someone for breaking a rule that didn't exist when they broke it. You added that rule to your userpage after they made the edit; you cannot yell at them for breaking it, because the rule didn't exist when they made the edit.
4. Finally, that "rule" on your userpage isn't even a rule at all - rules on your userpage can only apply to your userpage, you cannot control articles outside your userspace with your userspace. So essentially even if they had made the edit after you made the rule, you still can't yell at them for it because rules on your userpage can't apply to pages outside of your userspace.

It's nice that you feel so protective of your AF articles, but everything that you should have read (especially Scratch Wiki:Guidelines!) makes it clear that you do not own them. I understand that you put a lot of work into the article, but you shouldn't have put so much work into it if you don't want it to be changed by anyone else, even if the edit doesn't fit with your ideal of a good edit.

In 2018, AgentPineapple replaced every profile with a picture of sonic. However, jvvg ripped through the pictures to get to his profile. A few profiles were blown apart by demolitionists, but they were soon restored and Wolfcat67 was banned because AgentPineapple framed him.

Fools was banned because he ate Paddle2see’s cakes.

A prank was played by 78ch3, a Scratcher who could hack all the Scratch servers, where 01000001 00100000 01110110 01101001 01110010 01110101 01110011 00100000 01110111 01100001 01110011 00100000 01101001 01101110 01110011 01110100 01100001 01101100 01101100 01100101 01100100 00100000 01101111 01101110 00100000 01100101 01110110 01100101 01110010 01111001 00100000 01110000 01100001 01100111 01100101 that would produce energy units. 78ch3 programmed it to end up in his special room with energy units. He almost got banned by Harakou, but an evil kumquat ate the ST member who almost prevented him from being famous. Harakou forgot about 78ch3's demand and was spat out to give him some kake (his favourite cake brand).

Other than that, nothing else happened, except for turkey3 buying 5 million billion trillion tonnes of turkey for the website.

And then there was a big party where everyone ate turkey.

How do you make the UTC Time show up on your Custom Signature? Thanks,

Okay, so your signature doesn't have a timestamp, right? To fix this, go to Special:Preferences, and paste {{User:NYCDOT/signature}} into the box that currently says <scratchsig>NYCDOT</scratchsig>. Also make sure that the box labelled "Treat signature as wikitext" is ticked, otherwise it won't work. Then, your default signature will automatically be your custom one. Now, any time you sign your talk page edits with ~~~~, it will automatically place your custom signature with a timestamp.
