Do you mind if I make an edit to your inactive template?

I want to add a #switch statement for common possible locations to contact them:

| scratch = their [https://scratch.mit.edu/users/{{ROOTPAGENAMEE}} Scratch profile]

}}

So if they specify location as “scratch”, the template produces a link to their scratch profile.

How do Switch Statements work?

Good question! I’ll explain:

The #switch statement takes the first thing after the colon (in this case, the value of location) and compares it with each test case (each case in a parameter).

So if location was “done”:

1. Is “done” equal to “talk”? No, pass by it.
2. Is “done” equal to “scratch”? No, pass by it.
3. All the test cases are not equal, so just return the value of “#default”, which in this case happens to be the value of “location”.

So the final output would be “done”.

However, if location was “scratch”:

1. Is “scratch” equal to “talk”? No, pass by it.
2. Is “scratch” equal to “scratch”? Yes, return that, we’re done!

So the final output would be their [https://scratch.mit.edu/users/{{ROOTPAGENAMEE}} Scratch Profile].

Get it?

I was using chrome too - seems to be an issue with how Chrome handles emojis. Glad it's fixed!

Concerns with your signature's readability

Hi, Customhacker:

I've seen your signature contains cyrillic, coptic & latin extended-B characters (Cυƨтσмнαcκεя). This, however, does not match with your username, and could be misread as «Cuzromnock3r», specially for those that already have difficulties reading (Dyslexic people, between others).

TL;DR: What I mean with this is that your signature should actually match your Wiki account (Customhacker), for users' comfort reading.

@Jmdzti_0-0 — While I see the potential issue and appericate the pointing-out, you should also consider the activeness of the user. It can be seen that the user in concern was last active on 1^st August, 2018. There is simply a low-to-none chance that they will actually ever get to read this comment. So I'm not entirely sure is that helpful or not.

TL;DR: It is good that you can spot this potential issue but the user isn't active in a long time so they will never actually read your message.
