You can't review requests
In the wiki, there are groups. Since you are a new user you are part of the New Wikian group, the lowest. I am in the Wikian group, the one you will join as soon as your account is older than 30 days and has more than 50 edits. People can also be in multiple groups. For example, Ken is in bureaucrat, admins, and experienced wikian. The list of groups are:
- New Wikians
- Wikians
- Admins
- Experienced Wikians
- Bureaucrats
- Robots (do automated jobs)
For the rights that each of the groups have look here
For the reason you can't confirm requests is because only EWs and Bureaucrats can accept requests.

I hope you can make lots of helpful edits. Remember to check out the new page policies and especially the guidelines. The Wiki can be a little tricky in the beginning - I'm still making lots of mistakes. Mainly remember to include a summary of what you did with your edits and use a signature at the end of a reply/new topic on talk pages only. Don't worry; you'll get the hang of things eventually!

If you want to find pages to edit, then you could look at Some Articles to expand or Some Article stubs to find pages that you can improve. Alternatively, you could have a look at The Innacurate articles to find places to add references. I also look at the Random Pages if im stuck for inspiration.
