Welcome!

Kenny2scratch logo.jpgWelcome to the Scratch Wiki! I look forward to the useful edits you'll make and hope you'll have fun here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page, where you can talk about the Wiki, get my help with templates, or even ask personal questions, and more! If you need quick help with wiki markup, take a look at Scratch Wiki:Cheatsheet. You might want to go to Category:Articles to Expand to find pages that need editing. I get my inspiration from Special:RecentChanges however, so looking at that helps too. See you around, Apple502j;

Hello!

welcome to the wiki, Apple502j! I'm yzyzyz, and I hope you will have fun here.

we are 3,711 users, that have made 340,135 edits to 24,655 pages (1,493 of them are articles), and I'm 100% sure that you will make all of those stats a lot higher.

If you want to learn more about how edit the wiki and things like that, you can check my wiki guides. I hope they would help you.

Also, if you want anything from me, (and I mean anything, including asking me the most stupid question you could think about) ask me about it in my talk page.

good luck in the future, and keep editing the wiki!:)

Welcome!

Welcome to the Scratch Wiki!

Hey there! Welcome to the Scratch Wiki, Apple502j! We are glad that you've decided to join us here! I'm Daring_Sailor, and I'm here to answer any questions or queries you might have about the Wiki. You can message me on my Talk Page if you need help with anything on the Wiki, have a question you want to ask, or just to chat! :P

If you want to find pages to edit, then you could look at Articles to expand or Article stubs to find pages that you can improve. Alternatively, you could have a look at Innacurate articles to find places to add references. I also get my own inspiration from Special:Random.

Have great time on the Wiki! Hope to see you around making some great edits! Bye for now, Apple502j!

Just so you know

We have a bot, called InterwikiBot, that adds and modifies interwiki links automatically - no need to go to the trouble of adding them yourself.

But it doesn't usually do - Almost all Japanese Interwikis were added by users. 260 articles are translated in Japanese, but few articles only are added interwiki by bots. One of sysop in Japanese spoke: "Bots added links when there was a link, but it had stopped then. " (here)--
Apple502j (talk | contribs) 03:20, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
InterwikiBot doesn’t constantly run - it turns on once in a while. If there are many links that need adding, you can ping talk to tell them to turn it on.

OK. --
Apple502j (talk | contribs) 03:34, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
The bot can only create links from other links: If there is a link from an ja-article to en-article it can create the backlink and also all other links to other languages the en-article is linked to in the ja-article. But it can't create the first link!

Welcome Template

On your this page [1] you misspelled of course in the second paragraph. ;)
Makethebrainhappy (talk | contribs) 01:23, 27 August 2017 (UTC)

Thank you, I fixed.--
Apple502j (talk | contribs) 03:15, 27 August 2017 (UTC)

Suggestion

Why not adding [[ja:user:Apple502j]] to user:Apple502j ? ;) (don't know if interwikibot would do that because of ja:user:Apple502j)
MartinWollenweber (talk | contribs) 09:39, 1 September 2017 (UTC)

OK, I fixed. Thank you very much.
Apple502j (talk | contribs) 09:56, 1 September 2017 (UTC)
your welcome! Did you already have a look at http://test.scratch-wiki.info/wiki/International-Scratch-Wiki-FAQ#What_is_a_Template.3F ? A copybot for templates and pictures from en to ja could still help, but there are naturally also some disadvantages...could you discuss that with your ja-community?
MartinWollenweber (talk | contribs) 10:05, 1 September 2017 (UTC)
We have a lot of templates. See also: (Template List).
Almost all pictures are taken by Users, and some pictures are from here. There are some pictures from Wikipedia, too. I think We welcome translated pictures in Japanese Wiki.
I'll take this discussion to our Scratch topic.

Japanese Wiki

Hi @Apple502j! For the past several months, you've been doing amazing on both the English wiki and the Japanese wikis. Seeing this, you are being offered the chance to become admin on the Japanese wiki. Would you like that?
ErnieParke (talk | contribs) 22:34, 4 September 2017 (UTC)

Oh,really? I want to be an admin! Thank you very much!!

About dates on templates

I saw you added a date to the {{delete}} you put on your sandbox... however, you don't need a full date - you only need "Monthname yyyy", e.g. "November 2017" for yours.

Additionally, outside of userspace, my bot adds dates to templates - no need to do it manually.

Apple502j (talk | contribs) 21:35, 2 November 2017 (UTC)

Wow, that's a lot of file edits!

Looking at the recent changes... how did you make so many edits in such a short time? Was that automated?

No, I'm not using bot. I change Category:Other Images to other category.
Once you see a large amount of a certain type of image, create a new category for them and categorize it under this category

Only open Category:Other Images, and edit, choice the summary(changed category→chcat)--

Please be more respectful to other users

In particular, I'm referring to this message. There was no need to use caps lock there. It made it look like you were screaming, when all you needed to do was calmly explain the situation. By doing this, you are potentially scaring away new editors. Please always assume good faith, meaning that unless it's obviously not the case, assume that an edit was made with good intentions.
jvvg (talk | contribs) 22:59, 18 December 2017 (UTC)

OK. I never do it. --

Please remember to sign your posts

It appears that on revision 182508 of the page User talk:Jvvg, you did not sign your post. Please fix this by adding four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your post to insert your signature and remember to sign your posts in the future. Signing your posts is important as it allows other Wikians to see who made a post. Thanks!
