A Question
Hello!
I would like to know if you have to get confirmation to edit a page.
Because I wanted to edit a page and said something about it on it's talk page, and never got a reply. (Edit: Sorry if I wasn't supposed to comment here for questions, I found the community portal after I posted this)

- You don't need to get permission from talk pages for changing an article's content. However, if there's a disagreement with one or more editors (like, an editor thinks that's redundant and reverted it), or there's a big change for the article which change is disputed before, you should move this discussion to the talk page of the article. ahmetlii Talk Contributions Directory 20:52, 6 March 2021 (UTC)

Regarding User:Ahmetlii/Testcases
Hi there,
I just wanted to let you know that I commented out the category on User:Ahmetlii/Testcases so that pages that transclude that page (namely User:Ahmetlii/Sandbox) don't get added to Category:Pages With Unresolved Discussions. Thanks for understanding and for your contributions to the wiki!

Hello, recently I requested to become a Wiki Contributor. Luckily, I got accepted but now I'm somewhat confused. What I'm trying to ask is, whats my overall "job" as a contributor

- Hello, as a contributor, you can edit pages and add informations for pages whenever you think that something about Scratch and/or programming is missing on wiki, so this is not an exact "job", you may or may not want to edit whenever you want to do so. For example, you can edit Scratch when you think you can do an improvement to the page - this can be various, like fixing grammar mistakes or adding an information with citation, or updating the information on the page. Image Linking
In 312822 of theCommunity Portal you inserted a image which you thought should be featured in September. However, you could have just put a colon before the image name, like [[:File:Look Like.png]]. I think you meant to do this, but forgot to add a colon becase you put the image like [[File:Look Like.png|this]].

You don't need to mark this as a open userpage
Talk pages are open as a default. The {{open userpage}} template isn't needed.

- You're totally right about it. Though, I don't really bother to mess on those templates (some of which grew into being way too complex and I am lazy to edit them), and it's such a nice notification that allows you to edit on anything, all of which I don't care about (That even includes my template).
