The Things I'm Reading and Playing forum (more commonly referred to as TiRaP or just RaP) is a forum in the Scratch Discussion Forums for discussing books, movies, games, or anything else one enjoys reading, playing, or watching.
Before the Things I'm Reading and Playing forum existed, there was another forum called the Miscellaneous forum. This was a forum where users could say almost whatever they wanted as long as it followed the Community Guidelines. But this forum became very hard to moderate, with many users misusing it, so it was removed, and replaced with two forums: The Things I'm Reading and Playing forum, and another forum called the Things I'm Making and Creating forum. Both of these forums came with new rules to make sure that they would not be as difficult to moderate as the Miscellaneous forum.
What the Forum Contains
As the title says, the forum is for discussing what Scratchers are reading, playing, or otherwise enjoying, including (but not limited to):
- Books
- Magazines
- Movies
- TV shows
- Video games
- Board games
- Card games
- Music
- Art
- Sports
- Food
- Pets
Activity
The forum is very active; many Scratchers enjoy telling others about things they are reading/playing and discussing together. Some topics, such as the old Steven Universe topic and the old Pokémon Discussion Topic, have gained over 10,000 replies.
However, this forum is also prone to flaming, off-topic posts, and duplicate topics.[1]
