2.0 Style?
How about making it:
Removed - Outdated
and:
Removed - Outdated
and perhaps you should add an image, here are a two we could add:
The code I'm using for this is:
{{Header Template |1= |2=This page documents a feature not included in the current version of Scratch ([[Scratch 2.0|2.0]]). It is only useful from a historical perspective. {{#if:{{{1|}}}|For information on the feature that replaced this one, see [[{{{1}}}]].}}}}
Sorry if I should of just gone and done this, I just felt it would be quite a big change to a well-used template. EH7meow (talk | contribs) 20:11, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
- Holy pretzels it looks great!!! I don't know if you should change it though: I don't think any other templates are 2.0 style yet and it would be inconsistent:(
Scratchisthebest (talk | contribs) 20:13, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
- This is actually a good idea! I like how it looks both neater and much more similar to 2.0; and so I think it should be implemented both here and on the other templates (for consistency).

- Most other header templates are 2.0 style. I was really wondering if there was a reason this one wasn't. Do you think we should have a picture?

- Do you think I could just go and make the change?
EH7meow (talk | contribs) 17:24, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- I would say yes, you should do ahead with the change. As for a picture, I think that it would be a nice touch if we can find a good one to go in the template. Maybe a typewriter would fit? What do you think?
ErnieParke (talk | contribs) 17:36, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was thinking something like a castle to indicate it's old. i'll have a look for images.
EH7meow (talk | contribs) 17:40, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- I've updated to 2.0 style now.
- Recently curiouscrab added {{#ifexist:Scratch 2.1|{{error|this template is outdated. Please fix it soon.}} to this template, do you know how to add it back?
EH7meow (talk | contribs) 17:48, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- By looking at the history, yes I do. I just added the error back, if you want to look at the code I've added.

Scratch 3
When scratch 3 comes out we have to change the current version in the template. Jakel181 (talk | contribs) 00:02, 30 October 2018 (UTC)

Categorizing
When a page has this template, it gets put in the articles about the past category, even if just a section has it. If an article is about a current feature but has this template in a section, it will still get the category. Is there any way to fix that? derpmeup (talk | contribs) 19:56, 17 October 2014 (UTC)
- Is that so bad?
- If you think it's important enough, we could add a parameter to specify if it's a section.
