Caution:

This template is only used for new versions of Scratch. For general updating, use {{Outdated}}.

This template is to be used on pages which will need to be updated when a new update of sorts is released. It has 2 parameters.

Parameter 1

This parameter defines what will be released that causes the page to require updating. By default, it is "Scratch 3.0"; change it with the first parameter.

Parameter 2

This parameter defines what needs to be updated.

Use

{{update|<Version of Scratch being released that outdates pages>|<What specifically needs to be updated>}}

All parameters are optional.

Example of use

With no parameters filled:

The subject of this article or section has changed dramatically and requires updating. Some information or images may not be accurate or relevant to the current version of Scratch, the Scratch website, or the article subject. (January 2000) Specifically: Outdated by Scratch 3.0 release.

With the first parameter filled as "Scratch 1.4"

The subject of this article or section has changed dramatically and requires updating. Some information or images may not be accurate or relevant to the current version of Scratch, the Scratch website, or the article subject. (January 2000) Specifically: Outdated by Scratch 1.4 release.

With the first parameter still filled as Scratch 1.4 the second parameter is filled with "1.4 removes this block":

(January 2000) Specifically: Outdated by Scratch 1.4 release. (1.4 removes this block)
