This is a documentation subpage for Template:OutdatedImage (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Usage

This template is placed on a file page and tells editors to upload another image. This template will categorize the page the template was placed on into Category:Outdated Images. To prevent automatic categorization, add |cat=no as a parameter in the template. This template has two parameters, one tells editors what specifically to upload, and the other, |savethis=yes tells editors to upload a new image with a new name rather than updating the image.
