Template:Outdated/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Outdated (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Usage

This template is placed on a page, or in a page's sections, and tells editors to edit and fix outdated information. This template will categorize the page the template was placed on into Category:Outdated Articles. To prevent automatic categorization, add |cat=no as a parameter in the template. This template has one parameter, and that tells editors what specifically to edit on the page.

Note:

To mark outdated images, go to {{OutdatedImage}}.
