Template:Obsolete feature/doc

This is a documentation subpage for Template:Obsolete feature (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page.

Use this template on pages or sections that are about removed features from previous Scratch versions (such as Java Player). Pages with this template will be categorized in the category Category:Articles about the past. To prevent automatic categorization, add the following parameter to the end of the template: |cat=no.

If the feature was replaced by another one (e.g. Friend), the new feature's article title may be passed as the first parameter. If the feature was only updated (e.g. Paint Editor (2.0)), Template:Other version should be used instead of passing a parameter.

Example

Scratch 1.0 This article or section documents something not included in the current version of Scratch (3.0). It is only useful from a historical perspective. Scratch 1.0 was the first public release of Scratch.
