Is the first example listed under "Example uses" really necessary?

It doesn't use the actual block. It only uses a different block that sets the value of this block.

Technically, the words are nessacary. If you just have adjustable tempo, that's fine and all, but that's the most common use - to change speed. for an example.

True, examples are supposed to use the block described by the article, but this doesn't. I'll go change it up in a minute while still keeping the original idea...
