Talk:Shop (project)

Disagree that being common means notable. Shop almost always refers to forum shops. The creator's edit summary, "Yes, shop projects are very notable.", is not sufficient to prove otherwise on its own.

You are writing this on the talk page where I posted why it should be deleted. If nobody replies, then the deletion is presumed to be entirely uncontroversial.

I asked bigpuppy and they said that they've never heard of {{NotUseful}} discussions expiring. (Full post: User talk:bigpuppy#Page Deletion Discussion) Also, I don't think this page should be deleted. There are lots of project shops. One studio that I can think of with a lot of shops is the Palace of Points which is still a very active studio. Some scratchers may find some of these shops and wonder what they are, but then when they look it up on the Scratch Wiki, all they'll see is an article about forum shops.

I for one think we should keep this article because i have always used shop projects, and others do also. They are more important than what some people think.

There are many mall sims and studios made for shop projects and they are not unpopular to those only involved in projects and not forum. I just started using forums a few months ago but I was familiar with project shops as i was completely focused on projects and more than a thousand projects are there about it

If you hadn't heard of them until now, that would prove, not disprove, the page's importance. It may need moving to something along the lines of `Asset Projects` or `Asset Packs`, or perhaps a disambiguation page, but not a deletion.
