should this include line by line code, if statements, loops e.t.c. or would that be too comlicated for scratch? If so, how can we decide on syntax?

As this is just the basics, it would be very complicated for beginners, since it would require an advanced jumping system and the code would need to be greatly refactored.

What if there was a seperate page for it? Or we could have different languages, like a python emulator for example? 04:58, 29 March 2022 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I think that would be much too hard for an article on the Scratch Wiki; after all this is a site for beginners, and I don't think I'm advanced enough to make a Python emulator in Scratch since it would require a sophisticated parser and interpreter. I'm going to mark this as resolved since the language that this tutorial makes isn't going to change.

code

Is there a way to make it more clear that the 'if [() ] contains token' if statement contains a space after the two brackets?

Good idea; I'll add a comment on that block to clarify.

Use of this Page

I’m not sure we need this page. Almost all scratchers won’t be making a programming language.
