Should this one quote the Guidelines? It's not so harmful here...

Examples
In here, I believe there should be examples so that users may know explicitly what not to do. Should this be added?

- What kind of examples? :/
Scimonster (talk | contribs) 09:01, 3 June 2013 (UTC)- For instance, things that are safe to do or say, things that are to be used with caution, and things that should not be done at all.
Chainmanner (talk | contribs) 01:58, 4 June 2013 (UTC)- I was also thinking this. A forum topic recently arose called put all rules into community guidelines where users complained that all the specific rules aren't in the same place. I figured, why not put them here? Things like copying, necroposting, etc. I think it would be helpful. Of course I would use ample citations.
Wes64 (talk | contribs) 16:28, 18 August 2013 (UTC)- I think that we should keep this article about what it's title says, the Community Guidelines. Until they change I don't think it needs updated. Perhaps there should be a different article called "Rules" or something similar though.
EH7meow (talk | contribs) 16:31, 18 August 2013 (UTC)- I suppose that could work, or a category of some sort. Just somewhere central for all the various rules.
Wes64 (talk | contribs) 16:53, 18 August 2013 (UTC)- A lot of rules are currently within articles. We could have some sort of category or central page that linked to each section but I think an article would be alot neater.
EH7meow (talk | contribs) 17:03, 18 August 2013 (UTC) - If we did have an article, we would have to disrupt the existing articles (such as bump) and remove the descriptions of things (such as necroporting) from them, so that there aren't duplicate sections.
Wes64 (talk | contribs) 20:33, 18 August 2013 (UTC)- That shouldn't be too hard. It just involves copying from the old article and pasting into the new one, adding a new section heading and making the bit in the first article only about one sentence long with a Template:Main to link them.

All right, sounds like a plan. You can go ahead and create the article, ill chip in later.

- How's this? I think it's a bit messy and I don't like the first sentence.

Do we need the bullying section?
We don't talk in detail about everything else in Scratch that breaks the CG, why this? Secondly, it doesn't seem very Scratch specific and is rather general information for cyberbullying.
EH7meow (talk | contribs) 10:21, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- Kind of true. Maybe a short sentence of "bullying is not tolerated on Scratch" will do.
Turkey3 (talk | contribs) 12:49, 12 April 2014 (UTC) - Nowhere
Turkey3 (talk | contribs) 18:35, 12 April 2014 (UTC)- I put the bullying section, because other people told me to merge it with this article, and I'm not really sure how.
Stealeman (talk | contribs) 01:08, 14 April 2014 (UTC)- @Stealeman: You did a great job for your first time merging an article, but I'm sure they didn't mean merge it the way you had done it.
- @EH7meow: I agree with you. I don't think the cyber bullying section is really needed here because it is covered in a way by the CG and because of your reasons.
