Sorry, my mistake. I think it's OK to have more than one news item as long as the items are recent. The "In the News" section on the Main Page of the wiki should be a shortened version of the Current Events page, since it's intended to fit as a small section, but it should offer to show more news if Scratchers are interested. This revision shows that there have been times with more than one news item in each section. (If you go back further, there were even more, however I removed them.) As you can see in this revision of the page, even had a news archive for a while, but we decided it was too much work to update, and was not needed (after all, we have a timeline now).

Perhaps we should include all news items that have occurred in the past month as well as events that are temporary and are still going on, so Collab Camp (as an example) can remain in the news as long as it is still happening. What do you think?

We should change "The Scratch Team has released a new Scratch Design Studio!" to "The SDS Team has released a new Scratch Design Studio!" to fit more properly, since The whole SDS team is involved in new galleries.

Scratch Team Blogs Section

At first i thought it would be worthwhile to rename this section to Scratch News and summarize news entries, but the news entries are very short and shown (not just linked to) on the front page of the main site. So, perhaps we don't need it anymore.
