| 20:10, 25 May 2020 (UTC) | IP ban on three 403s in a short space of time | Perform an action that the server deems to be unacceptable (such as using the search box for queries like {{delete}} and repeat three times. The server will IP ban you, since those 403s appear to be a warning. IP bans typically last a day, and I don't think there is a fix for this, but I'm logging it anyway. Anyone can edit this message to further explain the IP banning, however. Further information may in future help track down our issue and potentially resolve it. 20:10, 25 May 2020 (UTC)

| 2 May 2020 | Page content does not update | I was creating Language Tutorials/C/HelloWorldExampleProgram, and when I clicked "Show Preview" the contents I had entered before got shown on both the preview and the editing area! I tried to go to Necropost#SubForums that Bend the Necroposting Rule and SubForums Where Necroposting exists (the heading was very soon removed).
The message was: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <TITLE> 508 Resource Limit Is Reached</TITLE> </HEAD><BODY> <H1>Resource Limit Is Reached</H1> The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later. </BODY></HTML> I found this strange because there was an empty line before the start, because the title began with a ' ' space, and because the line-break between "Limit." and "Please" didn't do anything.

The server often gives a timeout, or takes a very long time (usually more than 30 seconds) to load pages. I guess that it may be because of cPanel or a frequent update on the shared server. The server takes a very long time (usually more than 30 seconds) to load pages and shows error 404 or ERR_TIMED_OUT. The server did not load at all before it timed out. |
