< Scratch Wiki talk:Become a contributor

I don't see a reason to protect the page. So now bots can't run on it.

This page is just a reference for EWs and administrators, so there's really no reason other users should be editing it. For the same reason, there's not really any reason bots should edit it.

Prevent transclusion

This page should be made to prevent transclusion, like what has been done on Scratch Wiki Talk:Community Portal:

{{Scratch Wiki talk:Community Portal}}

Same with some other SW-namespace pages.

Just wondering, why is it necessary to transclude-protect pages at all? People can transclude this if they want to, and if it doesn't fit in a page, it will be removed.

Proposed change

Added one exception to the third main point. The page with the proposed edit is located at my sandbox. Please come to a consensus - If accepted, create a new discussion on my talk page stating that. If rejected however, state that and state why.

Change needed

"is the account an alt of someone who already has a wiki account?" "do not make any exception to this rule, except those stated at the bottom of S:CONTRIB"

What exception is at the bottom of S:CONTRIB? It should just say "never make any exception" since the normal process is ignored for bots anyway.
