Scratch 16Jan06, created on January 16, 2006, was one of Scratch's early versions not released to the public. This version followed 28May05 and preceded 27Jul06. Scratch 16Jan06 is also known as version 0.8.^{[citation needed]}

New Features

• point away from edge:: motion

Removed Features

• if on edge, bounce

Other Changes

• The done:: control block was renamed to stop stack:: control
• The "transparency" option for the set [ v] effect to () block has been renamed to "ghost"
• The Background has been renamed to the stage
• The ability to change the block language was added, with the option of changing the language to Deutsch (German), Español (Spanish), and Português (Portuguese) in addition to English
• The clear block has been made available in the stage's Block Palette
• The sensing category and pen category have been swapped
• The numbers category and sound category have been swapped
