The record project video option was a feature in the Scratch User Interface, added on December 21, 2015,[1] which allowed Scratchers to record Scratch projects without any third-party screen recording software. This feature was removed in Scratch 3.0.
It was only able to record durations less than 60 seconds.[1]
Recording Options
When creating a recording, multiple options are displayed to configure the recording. The default option selected is to include sound from your project. Additional options are available by selecting "more options".

Include Sound From Project | This option includes all sounds from the projects in the recording, including sounds created from notes, sound effects, etc. | ||
Include Sound From Microphone | This option includes all sounds from the microphone will be included in the recording, if one is plugged in. | ||
Show Mouse Pointer | This option displays the mouse pointer in the recording, if it is within the bounds of the recording area. | ||
Record Entire Editor | This option includes the entire editor instead of only the project player in the recording.

Record at Highest Quality | This option will ensure the highest quality possible in the recording.
