Mix and Match Camp (commonly abbreviated MaMC) was a Scratch Camp held in July 2015, and a sequel to Creative Characters Camp, which was held by scmb1 in July 2014. Mix and Match Camp Scratch Team hosts included haddadi, ceebee, Paddle2See, scmb1, and speakvisually. On July 18, 2016, a sequel to this camp was launched, named Scratch to the Future Camp.

Camp Objectives

The main objective to this camp was to make sprites for the Scratch Community, then use sprites by other Scratchers in a project.

Week 1

Dates: July 12–18, 2015
During the first week of camp, Scratchers made the sprites, which included a key, and a scientist. Participants also created a backdrop that represented a festival, though they did not have to make all three.[1]

Week 2

Dates: July 19–25, 2015
In the second week, camp participants had to choose sprites, and backdrops by other Scratchers from the first week, and create a new project using them. Participants also had to incorporate a special phrase, which was "Sorry, I thought you were someone else."[2]

Camp Counselors
