Second person is a point of view in the English language consisting of the words "you" and "your". It is used when the author of a piece of writing is talking directly to the reader. It addresses the reader directly. Second person is not allowed in articles except for tutorial articles according to the Scratch Wiki editing conventions. An example of a second person sentence is below:

You can click on the color palette to select a color.

This would not be proper for a normal Wiki article because it contains the word "you". It detracts from the content of the article by bringing the focus onto the reader instead. A better way of wording this would be:

Click on the color palette to select a color.

Clicking on the color palette allows selecting a color.

– Passive gerund

A new color can be chosen by clicking on the color palette.
