Scratch 28May05, released on May 28, 2005, is the release of Scratch following Scratch 26Mar05i and preceding Scratch 16Jan06.

It looks like Scratch 1.0, but it is lacking some features seen in 1.0 such as a few blocks, the option to show on-stage monitors, and user-friendly UI. Being a beta version, it lacks some features seen in Scratch 16Jan06, the next version. This is the first version of Scratch to include the Green Flag and Stop Sign.

Pen Category

A new pen category was added in this version, and the following 11 blocks were transferred to this category:
