Scratch Connecting Worlds 2013, also known as Scratch2013BCN, was the first European Scratch conference. The conference took place in Barcelona, Spain from July 25–27, 2013. The theme of the conference was Connecting Worlds, such as physical and virtual worlds, and connecting different cultures and countries through Scratch.

History

In 2008, 2010, and 2012, Scratch conferences were held at the MIT Media Lab. However, some European Scratchers were not able to attend these conferences, so members of the European Scratch community decided to set up a conference of their own.
